Plastics, my boy. Plastics.

This past weekend I met up with my family in Gainesville for graduation. We went out to dockside one night and ordered 100 wings-a true mark of celebration. I think the entire time I was in Gainesville my parents came up a couple of times for a game or to fix the Explorer. They never were given the full tour. I also showed them the ins and outs of the WUFT studios.

I want to set up a barge in the green pond and play music at night, real loud.

Just as I anticipated, graduation was pretty non-eventful. I sat next to Dr. Ostroff (The Telecom Chairman), he told me the president was changing things and how he wants to speed the commencement up. I had Dr. Ostroff for New Media Systems in the fall semester and he has this website on the college's page showing his home in the woods and his motorbike. He's originally from San Francisco, which explains a lot about his Haight Street vibe. That's him congratulating me after I walked.

On our way home, my parents wanted to see Lake Wauburg (where I sailed at) but it was closed. Luckily I spotted the entrance to Paynes Prairie Park which borders the lake. We walked around, saw some huge spiders in the fauna. They had this observation tower overlooking the prairie, which is full of wild horses, gators, bison, and cranes--none were spotted.

*Note the size of the mug Tony and Mandy got me. I used a franc for scale.

Let the good times roll.
